Obituary for Thomas A. Wright

Thomas Addison Wright, aged 77, of New Bedford, a patient in the Moline State hospital since Feb. 24 passed away on Monday, March 2.

He was born Sept. 8, 1870, the son of Moses and Lucy Wright of New Bedford, and with the exception of a few years in Puyallup, Wash., livedin the New Bedford community. He was married Jan. 1, 1895, to Ella Meyers and to this union were born two sons and one daughter.

He leaves his wife, two sons, Earl at home; Clarence of Sheffield; and Mrs. Grace Goldberg of Puyallup, Wash.; four brothers, Washington Wright of New Bedford, Mark of Walnut; William of Wyanet; and Albert of St. Charles. Three brothers, Sam, George and Charles, preceded him in death.

He was buried Thursday afternoon in the Fairfield-Greenfield cemetery. Services were conducted at the Church of Christ. Rev. C. D. Broyles, pastor of the Free Methodist church of Sterling, officiated. Two hymns, "Face to Face," and "Sunrise Tomorrow," were sung by Lee Renner with Sylvia Lindgren as pianist.

Pall bearers were nephews of the deceased, Lee, Alvin, William,Elmer, Albert and Leslie Wright.
