FRANK O. GERBER

Mr. Frank O. GERBER, age 91, at 309 W. Market Street, Tampico, died Thursday afternoon, March 27, at Sycamore Municipal Hospital in Sycamore, Illinois after a short illness.

Funeral services for Mr. GERBER were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.  at the Tampico Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Anderson, the pastor, officiating with burial in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.

Mr. GERBER was born on November 21, 1889 in Hooppole, Illinois, the son of Frank and Elizbeth Arnold GERBER. He was united in marriage to Laura LINDER on February 6, 1917 near Morrison, Illinois. He farmed his entire life in the Tampico-Hooppole area. He was a deacon at the Tampico Baptist Church for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Laura, 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard (Carolyn) MALONE of Sycamore, Ill. and Joyce GERBER of Sycamore, Ill., 3 sons: Milton of Hooppole, Ill.; Rev. Lauren of Bradford, Ill. and Lowell of Canal Fulton, Ohio, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and 2 grandchildren.
