TOMMY KENT JOHNSON OF TAMPICO DIES (April 16, 1970)

TAMPICO - Tommy Kent JOHNSON, two, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy JOHNSON, died Thursday evening in Community General Hospital, Sterling, after a prolonged illness.

There will be visitation after seven o'clock this evening in the Schmitt Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Schmitt Chapel by the Rev. Clarke DeVORE, pastor of the Tampico Church of Christ. The burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.

Tommy Kent JOHNSON was born in Sterling July 12, 1967, the son of Sammy and Donna Miller JOHNSON. He is survived by his parents and one brother Timmy at home; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Dana Belle JOHNSON of Tampico; maternal grandparetns, Mr. and Mrs. Gale MILLER of Tampico and maternal great grandmother, Mrs. Edith OVERTURF of Moline. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, paternal great grandfather and maternal great grandfather.
