Mrs. Florence Franks Dies in Rock Falls

Mrs. Florence FRANKS, 61, died early this morning at the family home, 504 West Twelfth street, Rock Falls following an extended illness.

The body was removed to the Wheelock funeral home in Rock Falls where friends may call after noon Thursday. Committal arrangements are pending.

Mrs. FRANKS was born April 2, 1891 in Bureau County, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. John YOHN .

Surviving are the husband, John W. FRANKS, five daughters, Mrs. Walter (Madolyn) SHOFFNER of Rock Falls, Mrs. Ervin (Irene) GOODELL of near Malvern, Mrs. Raymond (Bertha) MANAHAN of Rockford, Mrs. Kenneth (Audrey) SANDERS of Tampico, and Mrs. Harry (Lucille) ANDERSON of Rock Falls, two sons, Cyril CROSSLEY of Rock Falls, and Wesley CROSSLEY of Rockford, two brothers, John YOHN of Rock Falls, and William YOHN of Maryland, 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Virgil, Lee and Harmon.
