Mary Jean Troxell, age 56, of 202 5th St., Walnut, Il. died Saturday (Nov. 11, 2006) at her home in Walnut.

Mary Jean was born on December 27, 1949 in Princeton, Il. , the daughter of Wilson and Mary Ann (Thompson) McGonigle. She was employed by Peerless Level & Tool in Walnut for about 15 years, and was a waitress at Turner’s Tap in Walnut for several years.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Lisa (Russell) Lauritzen of Tampico, IL, Teresa (Matthew) Martin of Walnut, IL and Mary (Anthony , Fiancee)Troxell of Walnut, IL, one brother, John B. McGonigle of Walnut, IL and her lifetime partner, Gary Troxell of Walnut, IL, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Tommy Reiss, and one brother, Harry McGonigle.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in The Garland Funeral Home of Walnut with the Rev. Paul Nolden, pastor of the Walnut Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. . Cremation rites and burial of cremains will be at a later date. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HER MEMORY.
