Phoebe Lehman

LYNDON - Phoebe D. Lehman, 87, of Lyndon, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at CGH Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 11, 1919, in Yuma, Colo., the daughter of Peter and Mary (Vanderloo) Bannick. She was reared and educated in Cass County, Iowa, and Whiteside County. She married Charles Lehman in 1951 in Prophetstown and they lived in Canton until moving to Lyndon in 1991. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Lyndon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Judy) Lehman of Prophetstown and Raymond (Janice) Lehman of Sterling; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Gary; a grandchild, Arnie; two brothers; and three sisters.

The funeral is at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, with Andy Ploenzke of Lyndon United Methodist Church officiating. Burial is at Lyndon Cemetery. Visitation is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
