Anthony Silva

PROPHETSTOWN - Anthony L. "Tony" Silva, 21, of Prophetstown, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at his home. He was employed by Rock River Lumber & Grain, Prophetstown.

Tony was born April 26, 1985, in Sterling, the son of Max and Gwen (Sandrock) Silva.

Survivors include his parents, Gwen and Chawn Hurd of Prophetstown; a sister, Nickie (Mark) Morgan of Sterling; two brothers, Scott (Shelli) Silva of Rock Falls and Dan Silva of Prophetstown; maternal grandparents, Burdette and Delores Sandrock of Prophetstown; grandmother, Pat Hurd of Cambridge; three nieces; and a nephew.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements were completed by Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Prophetstown.

A memorial fund has been established.
