Timothy Lee Renner, age 48, of 315 S. Second Street Manlius, Illinois died Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Sara Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.

Tim was born on December 22, 1958 in Joliet, Illinois, the son of H. Dale and Betty Elaine (Dimmig) Renner. He was united in marriage to Heidi Lynne Cooper on March 12, 2004 in Princeton, Illinois. He was a graduate of Walnut High School. He was employed as a truck driver at Avanti Foods in Walnut. He was a member of the Walnut United Methodist Church and the church choir for many years, a Walnut Cub Scout Den Leader for many years, and coached soccer, baseball, JFL Football and basketball. He was a member of the Walnut Community Theatre and a very talented singer. He was an avid Bears and White Sox fan. Tim lived life to the fullest and his passions in life were his family, friends, country, community, church, music and laughter.

He is survived by his wife Heidi Renner of Manlius, Illinois; four sons, Joel Renner at home, Aaron M. Renner of South Korea, Tyler Renner of Walnut, Illinois, Reid Renner of Manlius, Illinois; four stepchildren Adam, Amber, Anthony, and Amy Linder all of Manlius; his mother, Betty E. Renner of Walnut, Illinois; five brothers, Dennis (Pam) Renner of Rockford, Illinois Steve (Lynn) Renner of Kuwait and Dixon, Illinois, Terry (Becky) Renner of Ennis, Texas, Tom Renner of Wilmington, Ohio, David Renner of Walnut, Illinois; one sister Julie Renner Estrada of Walnut, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry Dale Rennner, maternal grandparents Chris and Emma Dimmig, and paternal grandparents Harry and Maude Renner. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Walnut United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eldon Cook, officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HIS MEMORY IN LIEU OF FLOWERS.
