Funeral Services Set For Bettsy Watkins

Walnut -- Funeral services for Bettsy Watkins, 15, of 'Walnut, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Walnut First Christian Church, the Rev. Donald Whitehead officiating, with burial in Walnut Cemetery.

According to an autopsy, held yesterday in the Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, Bettsy died of a heart attack on Friday morning at the Walnut Private Pool. An inquest was held at 10 a.m. today in the Ross Funeral home.

Bettsy Watkins was born Feb. 11, 1953, the daughter of Gail and Blanche Johnson Watkins. She was a sophomore at the Walnut Community High School.

She is survived by her parents, two sisters, Linda and Jeanna; two brothers, Billy and David, all at home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lester Watkins and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Johnson, all of Walnut.
