Mrs. Laura King Dies at St. Anthony's Hospital In Rockford Early Today
 
Mrs. Laura A. King, 74, of Rockford, mother of R. J. King of 504 Second avenue, Rock Falls, and formerly of Rock Falls, passed away Monday at 12:30 a.m. in St. Anthony's hospital, Rockford.  Her body was brought to the Wheelock funeral home in Rock Falls this morning.
 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home, Rev. Wayne Leighty, pastor of the Rock Falls Methodist church, officiating. The committal will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery, Rock Falls.
 
Surviving Mrs. King are one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Mabel) White of Rockford;  a son, Raymond King of Rock Falls, and one grandson, James White of Rockford.  Her husband, Charles King, passed away in 1942.  Seven brothers and sisters preceded Mrs. King in death.  She was the last of her family.
