Robert Folsom

            Robert Folsom, 48, of Prophetstown died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005 at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood.  He was employed by RC Smith Transportation, Morrison.

            Mr. Folsom was born March 21, 1957, in Sterling, the son of Francis and Marion (Cox) Folsom.  He married Lorie Olson on Oct. 7, 1978 in Sterling.

            Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeff Folsom of Morrison; a daughter, Stacie Garrett of Dixon; a brother, Lee (Linda) Folsom of Rock Falls; and three grandchildren.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister in infancy.

            Graveside services was held Oct. 7 at Coloma Township Cemetery, Rock Falls.  Visitation was held at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls.
