The funeral of E.H. Kilmer was held at the Leon church Thursday afternoon, and was attended by large numbers of people.  Mr. Kilmer was formerly a resident of this place, having lived here a great many years until three years ago when he left the farm and moved to Prophetstown which place has since been his home.  He was sick several months and suffered greatly during his illness.  He was buried by the side of his wife who preceded him nearly two years.
