MARTHA (Sager) HOOVER
 
Mrs. Benjamin Hoover, Polo, Dies Thursday
 
Polo: - Mrs. Benjamin Hoover, 70, 801 South Division street, Polo, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday at Dixon Public hospital where she had been a patient for the past week.  She had been in ill health for the past several months.
 
The body was removed to the Melvin funeral home at Polo where friends may call Friday evening.
 
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from Melvin's.  Rev. Wayne Crist, pastor of the Polo Church of the Brethren, officiating.  Interment will be in Fairmount cemetery in Polo.
 
Martha Sager was born Oct. 7, 1882 at Hastings, Neb., the daughter of the late Marcus and Augusta Sager.  She was married Dec. 12, 1906 to Benjamin Hoover, who survives.
 
Other survivors are two sons, Alvin and Robert, both of Polo;  three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Bomberger and Mrs. Mary Lois Mertz, both of Polo, and Mrs. Mildred Kechler of Council, O;  two brothers, Albert and John Sager and a sister, Elizabeth all of Massena, Ia.;  also seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
