Mrs. Dallis B. Wallis, 60, Passes At Walnut Today
 
Walnut: - Mrs. Dallis  B. Wallis, 60, passed away at her home in Walnut at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday following an illness of several months. 
 
Tentative plans are to hold the funeral at the Ross chapel in Walnut at 2 p.m. Thursday. Friends may call at the chapel Wednesday.
 
Jennie Glafka was born in Walnut, Feb. 20, 1892, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Glafka sr.  She was married to Dallis Wallis in September, 1921.  With the exception of a few years spent in Sterling she had lived all of her life in Walnut.  She was of the Lutheran faith.
 
Surviving are her husband; three brothers, Henry and Edward Glafka of Walnut and Fred Glafka of Sterling;  five sisters, Mrs. Hugo Weyrauch,  Mrs. Leo Wahl and Mrs. William Pitney, all of Sterling, Mrs. Fredolph Cassens of Morrison and Mrs. Walter Anderson of Shawano, Wis.
 
Her only son, Delbert, passed away in 1946.  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nettie and Edna Glafka.
