John Victor Resberg Dies In North Dakota
 
Prophetstown: - John Victor Resberg, 76, died Wednesday in a hospital in Langdon, N.D.
 
The body was brought to the Gardner Funeral Chapel, where friends may call.  Funeral services will be conducted at the chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Frank Frost, pastor of the Tampico Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
 
Mr. Resberg was born in Barnamo, Sweden, the son of Swen and Mary Gustafson Resberg on March 18, 1884.  He came to the United States and settled in the Prophetstown area when a young man.  He went to Osnabrock, N.D., to live about 25 years ago.  He retained ownership of some Prophetstown property and had planned to return here to reside about June 1 of this year.
 
He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Osnabrock, N.D>
 
Survivors are two brothers, Amandus Swenson, Barnamo, Sweden and Oscar Resberg, Prophetstown.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
