 JOHN KOLB LAID AT REST

 John KOLB passed away at Round Grove Sunday morning after an illness of two years. He had lived in Tampico and Deer Grove for about twenty years and followed his trade as a barber. 

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the Parent undertaking rooms with Rev. P. C. Roseborough, pastor of the Church of Christ, in charge and a prayer at the grave. Burial was in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. The pallbearers were Jon McCormick and Jerry Keefe of Deer Grove, John Strouss, H. E. Cain. L. E. Smith and J. H. Hellier of Tampico. 

OBITUARY

 John H. KOLB, son of John and Amelia KOLB was born in Pittsburg, Pa. on June 23, 1876 and passed away Oct. 6, 1936 at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 11 days. 

He later moved to Chicago on Feb. 22, 1899, he was united in marriage to Minnie JOERN who preceded him in death in May 1918. 

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. A. BAUMEL of Chicago; two sons, H. J. of Tampico and George of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Frances McEwen of Chicago; and one grandson.
