OBITUARY

Mrs. Eleanor June Rock, age 67, of 204 Glassburn Street, Tampico, Illinois died Wednesday afternoon, May 17, 1989 at her home in Tampico.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at  2 p.m. in the Tampico United Methodist Church with Rev. Janet Preus, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery,

Mrs. Rock was born on February 21, 1922 in Oregon, Illinois, the daughter of Ray and Edith Paul Kested. She was united in marriage to LaVern F. Rock on February 24, 1945 at Mr. Morris, Ill., and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1988.

She was employed at Community General Hospital in Sterling, Illinois for about 11 years in the dietary dept. and retired in 1977. She was a member of Tampico United Methodist Church and vice president of the Martha Circle at the church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Jerrie) Schindel of Tampico; 3 grandsons: Kyle, Barry, and Lance, all of Tampico; 2 aunts, Flss Pickwell of Oregon, Ill., and Lola Paul of Rockford, Ill.; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Edith Jo.
