Hartnell of Stacyville, Iowa.  Unto them were born two children, William Frederick age 5 and James Dean age 3.  She possessed great executive ability, was a lover of her beautiful home and her chief interest was her husband and children.  The family had but recently moved from South Bend, Ind. to Chicago where they had become settled in a very fine home and were planning to enjoy the home circle.  Devoted and loving, she had hopes to live and never gave up the thought that she would have her family.
