Robert M. Hunter, age 74, of 103 E. Kimball Street, Tampico, Illinois, died Thursday, August 21, 2003, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, Illinois.

Mr. Hunter was born August 24, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Willard and Helen (Krebs) Hunter.

He is survived by: several nieces, nephews, and friends and one special friend Mary Jane Rippy of  Tampico, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Willard, one nephew and one great-nephew.

Cremation rites were accorded. A Memorial service will be conducted on Monday at 2 p.m. at Garland funeral Home in Tampico with Alice C. Curry, associate pastor of the First Christian Church of Sterling officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery after the services. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established in his memory in lieu of flowers.

Tampico:  - Robert M. Hunter, 74, of 103 E. Kimball St., Tampico, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at CGH Medical Center.
Mr. Hunter was born Aug. 24, 1928, in Chicago, the son of Willard and Helen (Krebs) Hunter.
Survivors include special friend, Mary Jane Rippy of Tampico, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Willard; a nephew and a great-nephew.
