FLOSSIE (McMullen)  DACORN
 
Mrs. Rufus Dacorn, Walnut, Passes Away
 
Walnut: - Funeral services for Mrs. Rufus Dacorn, 72, who died late Saturday afternoon in Perry Memorial hospital in Princeton, were held Monday afternoon in the Red Oak EUB Church, with the Rev. O. E. Cole, officiating. Burial was in the Walnut Cemetery.
 
Mrs. Flossie Rufus Dacorn was born April 15, 1891, the daughter of James and Anna McMullen in Streator. She married Rufus Dacorn on Dec. 1, 1917 in Walnut and lived in this area since her marriage.
 
Surviving are her husband, one son, John, of Walnut; two brothers, James, Clearwater Fla., and John of South Pekin;  four sisters, Mrs. Maude Cosby, St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Helen Polish, Canton, Mrs. Hazel Freeman, Norris, and Mrs. Harold Collins, Oswega, and three grandchildren.
