Mrs. Mary Rapp, 83, Prophetstown, Dies
 
Prophetstown: - Mrs. Mary Francis Rapp, 83, died Friday in Morrison Community Hospital after being ill for one year.
 
Mrs. Francis Rapp was born March 13, 1880, the daughter of John and Dehlia Mannion Hickey in Fenton. She attended Fenton and Lyons, Ia., schools.  She married Jerome Rapp and had resided in the Prophetstown area for 52 years. She was an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Catherine's Church.
 
Surviving are five sisters, Ann and Alice Hickey of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Chamberlain, Sabula, Ia.;  Mrs. John (Ida) Cannan, Clinton, Ia., and Mrs. Mabel Gorzney of Prophetstown.
 
Funeral sercvices will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Catherine's Church with the Rev. Thomas Neville officiating. Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 p.m. in the Gardner Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
 
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
