Harry Pierceson Succumbs Saturday
 
Harry A. Pierceson, 39, of 515 4th St., Rock Falls, died early Saturday morning at Community General Hospital.  Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home in Rock Falls with the Rev. William F. Myers , pastor of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, officiating, with burial in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
 
Mr. Pierceson was born in Deer Grove on August 26, 1932, the son of John and Temple Shere Pierceson. He was a member of the Sterling Elks Club, the Lake View Country Club and the Rock River Valley Snowmobile Assn.  He had worked at the Northwestern Steel & Wire Co. for the last four years, and previously had farmed on the Prophetstown Road, Rock Falls.
 
He is survived by his widow, Mary Ann; three sons, Steven, Jeffrey and Gregory, all at home; one sister, Mrs. Jerry (Janice) Crenshaw, Rock Falls; two brothers, Glen, Rock Falls; and John, Deer Grove.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents.  A memorial in his memory has been established.
