Mrs. M. J. Woodworth Succumbs Today
 
Prophetstown: - Mrs. Mabel J. Woodworth, 78, died early Saturday at Friendship Village Nursing home in Waterloo, Iowa where she had been in failing health for some time.  Funeral arrangements Chapel here.
 
She was born Jan. 31, 1893 in Henry County, the daughter of John and Johanna (ISchilburg) Spath, and married Ariel Woodworth on Feb. 17, 1914.
 
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Charlotte) Simester of Dunkerton, Iowa; two brothers, Arthur and Raymond, both of Prophetstown, two sisters, Mrs. Viola Winkler of Deer Grove, and Mrs. Jackson of Mountain home, Ark., and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, one brother, Dr. A. T. Spats, and one sister, Mrs. Vern Woodworth.
