MRS. R. F. WOODS TAKEN BY DEATH

Mrs. R. F. Woods,  a resident of Tampico for 50 years, passed away Tuesday morning in the CG hospital in Sterling where she had been a patient since Sept. 2nd of this year.  Her health had been poor for several years.

Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2:00 with the pastor, Rev. Henry J. Holverson, and Rev. Hollis Wharton of Plainfield officiating.

Burial will be in the Tampico Memorial cemetery.

Esther Mae Woods was born April 11, 1881, in Lincoln, Calif., daughter of Howard and Marry Stacy.

She received her education in the LaMoille schools and Knox college.

On May 02, 1905,  she was married to R. F, Woods at LaMoille.

Mrs. Woods was a member of the Tampico Methodist Church, was past worthy matron of  Morning Star chapter OES and had served as secretary for many years. She was a charter member of Palestine Shrine of White Shrine.

Surviving are two sons, John H. of Sterling and Stacy of Zanesville, Ohio; one daughter, Helen, at home in Tampico; four granddaughters; four great grandchildren; one sister; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters in infancy, and one granddaughter.
