ANDREW SODERBERG IS DEAD

Aged Swedish Gentleman Dies At the Ho e of His Son-in_law

Andrew M. Soderberg an aged Swedish gentleman died last Saturday morning at one o'clock at the home of his son-in-law, John Peterson, southwest of Tampico. The funeral services were held Monday at the Swedish Lutheran church west of New Bedford and interment was in the Fairfield-Greenville Cemetery. Rev. Olsson conducted the services. Death was due to dropsy from which the deceased suffered for more than a year.

Andrew M. Soderberg was born in Sweden July 7, 1832 where he spent his early manhood and was married in 1866 to Miss Johanna Ekstrand. They came here in 1880 and made their home near Thomas, seven years after moving to the home of their son-in-law. He was exceptionally patient during all the trying hours of his sickness and was a man respected by all his acquaintances. Two daughters and the  wife are left to mourn the loss of their beloved, friends extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
