Tampico: - Mrs. Vera E. Adams, 89, of North Main Street, Tampico, died Friday afternoon in Walnut Manor Nursing Home.
 
Funeral services will be Monday with prayer services at 9:30 a.m. at the Allen-Schmitt-Garland Funeral Chapel in Tampico, followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tampico with Rev. Eugene Parker officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico.
 
Friends may call at the Allen-Schmitt-Garland Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m.  Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
 
Mrs. Adams was born on December 9, 1892 in Harmon, the daughter of James and Mary Sutton Foley.  She was united in marriage to Robert B. Adams on June 2, 1915, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tampico.  He preceded her in death on November 28, 1971.
 
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
 
She is survived by five sons, Eldon, Tampico; Bernard, Columbia, Mo.; Jim, Webster Grove, Mo., Hub and Charles, both of Tampico;  one daughter, Miss Mary Adams, Tampico; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
 
Two daughters, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter preceded her in death.
