EDWARD  C.  AAGESEN
 
Edward C. Aagesen, 62, of Rock Falls, was dead on arrival Friday morning at Community General Hospital in Sterling.
 
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico with Rev. Gene Gebhardt, pastor of the First Christian Church of Walnut, officiating. Burial will be in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
 
Mr. Aagesen was born Feb. 16, 1925 in Manlius, the son of Edward C. and Marion (Jensen) Aagesen. He was united in marriage to Elinor Glaze on June 12, 1948 in Walnut. He farmed in the Rock Falls and Tampico areas for 32 years and retired in 1980.
 
He is survived by his wife, Elinor of Rock Falls; three sisters, Mrs. James (Edith) Ward of Vista, California, Mrs. Karl (Dorothy) Jenner of Walnut, and Mrs. Glenn (Barbara) Fensterman of Buda and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents.
