MABEL  ROGERS
 
Tampico: - Mrs. Mabel Rogers, 84, of Route One, Tampico, died Wednesday evening at the Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo.
 
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the New Bedford Christian Church with Rev. William Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Greenville-Fairfield Cemetery in New Bedford.
 
Visitation will be Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico.  A memorial has been established in her memory.
 
Mrs. Rogers was born on Jan. 18, 1903 in Bureau County. On March 25, 1925, she was united in marriage to Glenn Rogers. He preceded her in death in September of 1973.
 
She was a member of the New Bedford Christian Church and the New Bedford Royal Neighbors.
 
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Glenda) Ebenezer of Rock Falls and Mrs. David (Joy) Sherbeyn at Geneseo, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters and two brothers.
