Otto Von Holten, 58, Harmon, Passes Away
 
Walnut: - Otto Von Holton, 68, Harmon farmer, died Wednesday afternoon of a heart attack.
 
Otto Von Holten was born April 22, 1895, the son of William and Marie Geyser Von Holten in Sidney, Ill.  He married Margaret White on Dec. 6, 1937 in Rock Falls and in 1937 they moved to their present farm six miles north of Walnut.
 
Surviving are his wife; seven sons, Leo, James, Walnut;  John, Richard, Eugene, and Don, Harmon; and Robert is stationed with the Armed Forces in Colorado; five daughters, Mrs. Albert (Marie) Schulte, Mrs. Darrell (Betty) Oberle, Ohio, Ill., Mrs. Russell (Ellen) Spencer, Mrs. Maynard (Marge) Parker, Mrs. Louis (Euryth) Vickery, all of Walnut; 53 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; one brother, Carl, Walnut;  two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Koenig, Tampico, and Mrs. Emil (Amelia) Wascher, Champaign.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
 
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Falls with the Rev. E. A. Henricks, officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
 
Friends may call at the Ross Funeral Home in Walnut this evening.
