LLOYD  E.  McNINCH
 
Lloyd E. McNinch, 76, of 408 Third Avenue, Rock Falls, died Sunday evening in Sterling Care Center following a lengthy illness.
 
Funeral services for Mr. McNinch will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Wheelock Allen Funeral Home in Rock Falls with Rev. Gary Yost, pastor of the Rock River Christian Center of Rock Falls officiating, with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown.  Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home.
 
Mr. McNinch was born on Jan. 12, 1909 in Amboy, the son of Edward and Elsie Lovering McNinch. He was employed as a millrite at Northwestern Steel & Wire Company for over 35 years, retiring on March 1, 1973. The deceased was a former elder of the Rock Falls Presbyterian Church.
 
Surviving are his wife, Mae T. McNinch of Rock Falls;  two sons, Delmar McNinch of Rock Falls and Doran McNinch of South Pekin;  one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Sylvia) Snow of Sterling;  11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several step grandchildren;  four sisters, Mrs. Kermit (Alice) Friedlein of Mendota, Mrs. Helen Miller of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Stanley (Elsie) Herbon of Rock Falls and Mrs. Kenneth (Marjorie) Haas of Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents.
