HERMAN  SEAHOLM
 
Prophetstown:  - Herman Seaholm 99, died Monday at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Gardner Chapel in Prophetstown with Rev. Richard Dow, pastor of the First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
 
A memorial has been established.
 
Mr. Seaholm was born on May 27, 1886 in Vptad, Sweden. He was educated in Sweden and moved to the United States in 1908.  In 1934 he married Emma Wassenhove in Prophetstown. The deceased worked as a blacksmith and farmer in the Hooppole community from 1913-1921. He then moved to Prophetstown where he was employed at Eclipse Lawnmower Company until retiring in 1956.
 
Surviving are two step-sons, August Wassenhove and Syriel Wassenhove of East Moline;  and one sister, Hilma Ingemansson of Malmo, Sweden.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1979, a son and four step children.
