Let's Go Back - To the Tampico Tornado dated August 20, 1936. There we find:
Miss Arlene PIERSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amiel PIERSON and Howard HANSEN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles HANSEN, were married in the Yorktwon Luthern church. Rev. William Strong officiated Misses Leora THOMAS and Verla SMITH, were the bridesmaids. Miss Berniece HANSEN and Clarence PIERSON were maid of honor and best man. Donna Jean BLACK and Barbara SANDROCK were the flower girls. The reception was held at the homeof the bride's parents. The new Mrs. HANSEN has taught the Thomas school the past six years. The groom is engaged in farming.
