May 13, 1920 MARRIED IN SHEFFIELD Miss Esther RENNER and Lee W. DOW were united in marriage April 21, at the home of the bride in Sheffield. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. RENNER, pioneer residents of New Bedford, Mr. RENNER being a Civil War veteran. The young lady has many relatives and friends in and around Tampico and New Bedford, and is much liked and highly spoken of.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee DOW, former Tampico people, now residents of East Moline. He is a steady, industrious youn man of splendid habits. He was an early volunteer of World War, belonging to the 64 Ill., in which his grandfather DOW was one of "Yates' Sharpshooters." Ward was more than a year at Camp Bliss, El Paso, where he was promoted to Corporal of the Machine Gun Company. He was nearly a year in France where he was promoted to Sergeant and spent the last days before the armistice in the lines near Thiacourt.
Mr. and Mrs. DOW will build a cottage beside that of his parents in East Moline.
