JOHNSONS TO OBSERVE 40TH
Mr. and Mrs. V. Francis JOHNSON, RR 1, Tampico will observe their 40th wedding anniversary with open house at their home in Thomas, IL, on Sunday, March 30, from 2 to 4:30. The couple requests gifts be omitted.
V. Francis JOHNSON and the former Gertrude BRAASCH were married at the Manlius Baptist Church on March 30, 1940.
They are the parents of two children, Mrs. Larry (Dorene) Knipple of Dixon and Peter C. JOHNSON of Sterling. They have four grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Francis was a farmer in Fairfield Township until his retirement.
