Gifford  Yarde had his hands and face severly burned last week at the Ross School by touching off a quantity of nitro glycerine under the impression that it was gun powder. It seems that one of the boys attending the school secured a small qauantity of the explosive from some his father had stored away and brought it to school. The boys  found out that it would explode all things again.
