Tampico Tornado - July 14, 1883

~ The train, carrying the mail for Frederick, Da. arrives at 11 o'clock p.m. The mail bags were thrown off, one night last week, and were riffled. Among the letters opened was one from J. W.  Hixson of Tampico, to his son, Frank. It contained 20 dollars. The letter was found, but the money was missing.
