TAMPICO CORN SOLD FOR $1.00 PER BUSHEL

The highest price ever paid for shelled corn shipped from Tampico was received last week by the Farmers Elevator Company which had a car that sold for $1.00 per bushel on track in Chicago. This price broke all records and is the top notch for corn shipped or sold since Tampico came on the map. With corn more than a dollar a bushel and flour nearly $3.00 per sack, mush and milk will become fashionalble and be served by the rich only.
