BROKE FINGER PULLING OFF SOCK

M. R. LYON broke the cords in the end of his middle finger this week very strange to relate, in pulling off his sock before going to bed. He noticed that the end of the finger hung lifeless when he was in bed and investigation showd that it was broken at the first joint. It was probably broken by giving it a sudden twist or jerk in removing this article of hoisery (sic). His friends are joshing him consiiderably about a strong stuck fast proposition.
