Searching for death information on Howland Parsons. He was born about 1809 in New York and died around 1850 in Greenville, Bureau County, Illinois. His wife was Samantha Ervin. Samantha was listed as head of household in the 1850 census taken in June. They had four children. In 1851 Samantha had a daughter so Howland must have been alive in 1850. I cannot find any record of his death. He is not listed on the 1850 Mortality Schedule. Checked the Greenville/Fairfield Cemetery index and he is not listed. The Parsons name has been found as Persons and Pearsons. Howland as Holland. It's possible Howland was a middle name.

Thank you for checking. Howland is my 3rd great grandmother's brother so he's an uncle of mine. Just found a DNA match with a descendant of Howland's and she was requesting information on his death date and place. Unfortunately he just disappears. I told her next time I go to Princeton I'd check for him. I thought Howland may have done business in Tampico. I think Tampico would have been closer for him than Princeton.
