The Tampico American Legion Post #574 will conduct their annual Memorial Day Services on Monday, May 29. Services begin at 10:AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The flag ceremony, rifle salute, and prayer will be followed by reading of names of all Veterans buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The group will then proceed to Tampico Memorial Cemetery where the flag ceremony, salute, and prayer will once again be held. Reading of the Veterans buried in Tampico Memorial Cemetery and Yorktown Cemetery will then be read. Public is invited. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in Reagan Community Center (former grade school).
