Jack E. Olmstead

Fireman, first class, Jack E. Olmstead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Olmstead of Tampico, Ill., was inducted into the navy, Dec. 13m 1943. He was engaged in farming prior to his induction. He received his boot training at Great Lakes naval training station and finished as seaman, second class. After a short leave, he returned to Great Lakes and was given a rating of fireman, first class, and sen to Camp Bradford., Va.
